I got this message on the dash today, it came and then went and then came back again, if i scroll through the trips and odo then its there, sometimes.

"b-4400" then in the top right where it normally say odo or b or a it said rev

Ive had a little bit of a stutter at 3-4K but i only got the car on monday and its intermittent, does this message mean anything to anyone? I wondered if it might be the rpm at which it beeps at me, but i cant see any way of changing it.

Ive search the forum(4400 gets a lot of posts!), and google provides nothing either.

The manual appears equally uninformative.

Its a MY08 sti. Has a forge dump valve which i hate and is off ASAP, other than that i was told it has had nothing done, has 28K on the clock.

so it is the gear change light, setting its a bugger, and why it suddenly started appearing on the dash i dont know. Mind you i dont seem to know much!
