Default Boost problems

Hello all, in need of help!
My car is a 98 type r v-limited with a VF22 turbo.
Last week I was happily driving to work, giving it a bit of a blast and it boosted to 1.2 bar then settles down to .9 bar as usual.
So I left my car parked up outside work till the end of the day. As I was driving home I felt a distinct lack of power and my boost gauge was only reading .6 hmmmmm! It holds at .6 tho.
I've checked all the boost hoses and there fine, there's no smoke or funny noises coming from it, apart from a slight, an I mean very slight whining noise when off boost and under about 2k revs. I'm baffled as to why this happened, because as I said it was sitting outside work doing nothing. Could it be waste gate? Restrictor pill? Has anyone else had this problem? An how could I solve this? Any info is welcome!

Nick

Possible solenoid or bad fuel my03 wrx lost its boost and went into limp mode for about 2 weeks with no lights on the dash, after alot of head scratching it was put down to bad fuel that was over a year ago and it running fine

There's no hesitation when accelerating. No fault codes either!

Check:
Air filter system (see if it's dirty)
Boost pipes cracked
Possible solenoid
Bad fuelling
Turbo wear
Crappy oil feed line

Does the boost hold it these readings?
Also what turbo are you running?
When this happened to mine, I made sure I got v-power fuel and it seemed to be better!
