Sure you are doing the right procedure?
Ign off
Connect green and blacks
Ign on
Throttle down then half way

So you have any codes stored?

Do you need to reset if you have no codes?

Is it a constant flash with no gaps?
Is the engine up to temp?

Ok that's ok, I normally do it from cold, then a few mins driving and the all clear comes up.
So what your saying is you connect the greens and blacks, carry out reset procedure and after start up the CEL flashes consistently ?

as far as im aware if you get a constant flashing after around 5 seconds of driving , then that means no faults are present. job done .
