76mm induction hose with a version 1 manifold
has anybody here ever run a 76mm induction hose with a version 1 manifold ?
The manifold is raised 20mm already and im trying to fit a s206 turbo, have diy'd a 76mm induction setup but not really happy with it, and kinda reluctent on spending £200+ on something that may not work.
So anybody managed it ?

Sorry m8, but if you are going to give information, please make sure it's factually correct.
With a set of manifold spacers and a power steering relocation or later power steering resevoir it is possible to get the stock or silicone Version 3 on intake pipe under there.
Before and after pictured above.
If you have already relocated your power steering Ric which from memory you have, I believe you could use one of these and modify a few of the inlets and outlets from it to make it work.

just to say for anyone else considering this conversion, dont ! its a right pain in the *** iv tried the lateral 76mm inlet hose and basically it dosnt fit with the s206 and the v1 manifold, well it does but its so squashed its pointless. so basically iv wasted nearly £250

You surprise me Ric, we've had 76mm Samco induction hoses fitted under V1 manifolds several times before now without facing the same issue.

the biggest problem martyn is the 206's inlet facing an upward angle, so the pipe has to bend down about 45 degrees and then immediately straight again under the manifold, the inlet i got from lateral doesn't account for this. Unless the turbo isnt meant to be at this angle ?
