hi all, was wondering is this a common problem, when i start car and tun on headlights, 9 times out of ten the rear foglight comes on aswell even tho before i stopped car previously the fogs were off?

is this a known problem or am i being stupid?

Never heard of it before.

It could be either a poor earth somewhere, (in the foglight circuit?)
Or more likely it's a faulty relay, but could also be the switch.

I'd START by removing and replacing the relay, which I believe is up under the dash, driver's side, but I may be wrong, so ask before pulling them out, they are a b*gger to get at
