Default Cracked headers - replacing

hi guys just looked to see why the scoob sound like a tractor and seen the headers have cracked. They look like cheapo tubular jobbies with a flex joint before the up pipe.

I was thinking of just putting the standard ones back on as the car hasn't been remapped or anything for tubular ones. Do you reckon I'll notice much difference or should I replace like for like sort of thing?

If you put the standard ones back on you will defo notice. Afer i fitted some to mine i noticed a massive difference. But i would look for good headers and not the ebay ones which are prone to cracking.

If it hasn't been mapped for tubular headers, I've got a feeling by putting the standard one back on, you might notice a distinct improvement in spool and response!

Hmmm. Interesting, may have to test your theory!

Next question - are all standard ones the same as in WRX Sti etc.
