Default Opinions on exhaust ?

Hi

I currently hwave a howard and scott system on the car with a 100-cell sports cat. Its got a very nice growl to the system but I am after something just a little louder, not full on in your face tho!! As I do have neighbours and do go to work very early in the morning (dont want my car being keyed etc)

I have looked at ScoobySport back box for £189

But also seen similar ones on ScoobyWorld for similar money
- Afterburner vortex
- Ninja 2

Anyone use these? got recommendations?
I know the Blitz Nur Spec is nice but I think this is the exhaust thats very loud and in your face.

Could be wrong mate but is it not Howard and Scott who make the afterburner for scoobyworld, probably the same exhaust as you have with a different name ??!!

the ninja I belive is known as slightly quieter than the rest.

Blitz nur spec with a bung would be my recommendation, run one myself.

Not sure if there is a video on youtube showing the bung in place on the blitz ?? one thing I will say mate that may well surprise you is personally would not describe the Blitz nur spec with bung in place as anywhere being " loud " just a deep non offensive tick over getting louder but again nothing excessive as you push on a bit .

before I bought the car I was a bit wary as in no way did I want a system that was stupidly loud and kept hearing so many folk talk about the Blitz nur spec as being just this !! first time I heard the car start up I thought now thats sounds nice, now all I have on the car just now is the blitz nur spec cat back everything else is totally original, from what I have learned its the changing over to decat up / down pipe / midpipe that deepens / brings out the noise.

will soon be changing my own blitz to an Afterburner Vortex / resonated centre / decat midpipe and keeping the original up / down pipe for now. am hoping that I dont have to run a bung within the system as am trying to get away from this as have read that its not too good for the turbo etc to have a bung in place when pressing on a bit.

Will add you to the list mate !!

to be honest if I had found a used resonated 2.5 " centre pipe by now the Afterburner Vortex would have been on and the Blitz off and ready to be sold.

probably be looking £350 and thats the catback and bung but as I say had offers via PM to buy it before when I brought up the subject off possibly removing it from my car !!
