Default Spoiler or no spoiler.

Hi guys,
Which is better for 1/4 mile drag runs? Spoiler on or no spoiler? Does it make any difference?

if you look at the big boys, they have a spoiler for track, and no spoiler for drag

No spoiler is best. Less weight and less drag.

If you're using your car purely for 1/4 mile events then go for it, but be advised, if this is a road car that you like to open up from time to time, removing the spoiler will effect handling and high speed stability, I've driven a car with it's high level spoiler removed and I was quite surprised by the impact it had on the cars handling.

The car is track, road and drag racing i think i need the spoiler for track because i noticed the difference like u say on handling. Think i will have both and change when i need it.
