Default ECU PPP Flash

Hi,

Im currently at the same specifications as the PPP on my my00 but without the ECU, i dont have the money for an ecutek remap and the PPP ecu is very hard to find.

Does anyone know if there are any mappers (andy f, JGM etc) that are able to ecutek licence my ecu then flash it with the PPP map?

Thanks!

Pretty sure you can just get your stock ecu mapped, I thought it was only the 97/98 UK models that couldn't be mapped without replacing the ECU with an aftermarket one.

I may be wrong, I'm still fairly new to Imprezas.

Yeah it would have to be mapped with ecutek but the cost of the license and a map is around £450, thats too much for me at the moment so im on the lookout for a ppp ecu for around £200.

Figured this might be a cheaper way to get similar power as well as having my ecu licensed at the same time.

I think it's about 150 for the licence alone. It makes more sense to have it remapped! Or find a ppp ecu for reasonable money. I thought the going rate for a ppp was about 150.
