Unhappy help please!!

Hi. I have a subaru imprezer 1996 completly standard apart form a turbo timer.
I have just recently bought this car am im loving it apart from when i hit around 3/4000 rpm the car hesitates/ kind of miss fires but only when you put your foot down. Slow driving there is no hesitation.
I had a service done. Just the uaual oli filter an plugs but still have the same problem.
i checked the plugs an coil packs after just to be sure. But all seam to be in gd order. No corrosion/ cracks on the coils and plugs are at the correct gap.

Is there anyone that can help?

Many thanks carl

Maf is very delicate.Better buy new one.If you have a foam induction kit the oil contaminates the thin wire in the Maf.

Right. Changed the maf an still no good. However i found i small fuel leak from the filler down pipe on my tank.... oh dear aprently £218 + vat from subaru dealer. Could this lead to a splutter when excelerating? I.e lack of presure in the fuel tank?

Any ideas would be great?
