YES, i have a very good way to check for a boost leak, you will need;
Compressor
Blow gun
good ears or spray soapy water
Blanking plug the same size as the turbo compressor outlet
What to do; bung the boost pipe at the turbo compressor, pressurize the compressor housing via the blow gun and port for boost control, with the engine off and throttle closed, listen for boost leaks or use soapy water to find bubbles.
It really works! try it
