Default Fitting a Classic SS Centre Pipe onto Newage?

Have the chance to get a 2.5" Afterburner SS de-resonated Centre Pipe from a classic for a good price.

Problem is I want to fit it onto my Newage to replace the standard centre pipe. My system is totally standard except for 2.5" Ninja Backbox.

Has anyone ever tried to do this and if so how did you make it fit as I believe the classic centre pipe is a little longer than the Newage centre pipe?

I've heard you can swap the newage downpipe for a classic downpipe to get the centre pipe to fit. but then paying for this will offset getting the classic centre pipe for a good price in the first place. Also is cutting and welding the centre pipe an option to make it fit?

Just need to decide if I'm better getting the proper newage centre pipe that will bolt straight on or if this one would go on without much trouble/extra cost.

Cheers.

Easiest to get correct pipe as unless you planning in fitting decat downpipe then you could just get a classic one, the other option is if you are fitting a 2nd decat pipe then maybe Haywood and Scott would do a custom length to mate classic centre to newage downpipe but all depends on cost really
