Default help with coolant

anybody know what coolant i should put into a classic v4 sti ive been trying to find out for the last half hour but seems to be loads of different answers

blue ethylene glycol mate, oat and hoat is for the newer ones

As I said in a recent post, there are a lot of myths about coolant.

All you need to worry about is: does it contain an anti-corrosion substance/corrosion inhibitor?
And is it suitable for an alloy engine? If the answer to the first question is yes, then so is the answer to the second.

Buy it from a reputable motor factor and ask those questions before buying.

If RE-filling due to loss, DO try to get the same stuff as used before. Mixing types is not a good idea. In fact if you have lost a fair bit, find out why, put it right, then drain and start with fresh.

Please note: the colours vary with brand. There is no "best colour". Mine is fluorescent pink, bought from a factors, mixed 50%, and filled VERY slowly
