RA Engine - How To Identify

Default RA Engine - How To Identify

Hi all

If you have read some of my other threads you will know i have just recently purchased a white Impreza. Now when buying this car i was told it has had an RA engine fitted with a close gearbox but no proof. So can anyone advise how i can tell what engine it has?

What year car?
And tbh, there are no differences between the classic engines per year (excluding sti v wrx but all sti ones are the same and so are the wrx ones).

It is a 1995 Uk Turbo.

Apparently the engine has been swapped so i just want to know if there is an easy way to identify if it has as there is no paperwork to say it has?
