Default 2002 engine oil breathers

hi guys i have a 2002 wrx engine and was wondering can i vent all the breather pipes that go into the intake pipe to atmosphere cheers james

Yes you can, although you will need to blank them off on the inlet pipe to avoid any un-filtered and un-metered air being let in the engine.

Technically it will fail an mot also, as crank case gases shouldn't be vented to atmosphere, however I haven't met an MOT inspector that knows this rule yet!

ok so even the one that comes out of the block can be joint together with all the other breathers and vented to atmosphere or catch can ? cheers jame s
