Door card restoration
Hi All
I have a 97 Classic thats still going like it should but its getting really tired inside.
Ive tried cleaning the door card material inserts but you just get a clean spot and anyway the material is worn too.
Has anyone tried glueing new material onto this, if so what did you use and how did it turn out.
Thanks in advance

trimming straight onto it might cause problems when trying to fit back on ? as it will be thicker round the edges . id rip off the old material and see what your left with ? then go for a nice alcantara effect material as its nice and thin but hard wearing but if using the glue in aerosol can ? dont apply to much as it bleeds through the material " if using the suede kind " good luck

I've seen some decent results on here using various types of materiel.
Is yours the one with pale grey inserts? If so, they DO show EVERY mark. I eventually took mine out and sold them on, buying some off a W-plater, which has the darker blue flecked materiel.
An idea for you?
