Default clutch question plz

hi guys just pulled gearbox out of my subaru classic my96 wrx import

wanted to put it back but was unsure if release bearing goes on the flywheel first or clipped on the pressure plate first if on pressure plate first how do u guide the fork back in without messing it up

i take it the clip and the other bit go on the pressure plate then the bearing pushes in that way

i was trying with the old one to push the clip and the ring with the bearing on it threw the plate did not think that was right

Yep, just put on the forks then when the gearbox is back on just push the fork back and the bearing will clip in and hold

It's a pull type clutch which if your used to doing push types all the time, does seem confusing at first
