Default Buying, fitting 3 port, mapping??

Hi all.
Thinking of getting a 3 port boost solenoid for MY03STI ppp. What bonus will I get?
Questions are, how much? Where from? Do I need a remap? If so who in the Suffolk area? I have a ECU tek map at the moment, 323 HP
Thanks

the 3 port holds boost better because of the better design.......yes you do need a re-map immediately. Most mappers carry some on stock and usually fit it at the same time as strapping on the det cans

Might not make any more boost / BHP but should keep boost levels that the ECU sets as a target

How can you tell if you have a 3 port? I have a classic W reg Turbo 2000, would this have a 3 port or a 2 port?

Thanks

I asked the same question and was asked to post some pics of the drivers side engine top strut. And by the looks of it, I was told I don't have any. So now looking for a ECU tek mapper for Suply, fit and remap.

It will be a 2 port mate, only early classics came with a 3 port as standard.

Remember that a new EcuTeK maper cannot see the map flashed on by the previous mapper (unless you go to the same EcuTeK mapper) so he will have to start from scratch....are you going back to the same mapper ?

A fresh mapper isn't an issue they can set a decent base map to work from fairly quickly once they know the mods fitted. Then they can work there magic. U already have an ecutek licence now so it will be cheaper. Try RaceDynamix as Duncan knows his stuff. He maps mine.

More than happy to travel to Suffolk and map it if required.
