Default how often does this car REALLY need cam belt service

1999 STi RA with 80k miles

driven less than 800 miles a year (fair weather show car)

JDM ej207 motor

320-ish HP

ABS delete
HVAC delete
Airbag delete
flipped intake manifold
parallel fuel rail mod
FMIC

minimal High Speed / High Boost runs

i've read that it's common place to do the cam belt service every 6 months no matter what. it seems excessive (and expensive) to me to replace the cambelt every time i do an oil change

Isn't every 5 years or 45,000 miles which ever is sooner.
