Bit of a strange one, drove car for 100miles all fine, with stick now and then went to go for it, boost came in hard as normal then sudden big surge and lost all boost, backed off throttle, all ticked over fine, no air leaks, no smoke, no rattles, carried on driving but now has no boost at all?????? just drives as a n/a car.

Car is a classic Impreza turbo using standalone ecu, bigger turbo, forge actuator, STI 4 map sensor, 25psi boost etc etc.

What do people think could be or had this before???

Map sensor?
Wastegate stuck open?
Turbo turbine?

Wont get chance to look at car until Tuesday but will need to do it asap so wondering which area to check first....

100% pipes in good conditon. I had them before where pipes blow off/air leaks and you can tell easy that is the cause, ie doesnt idle and runs only small boost pressure, but my car is smooth running and you cant hear any air escaping under load.

Quite a new forge actuator and newish andy forrest turbo so shouldnt be that but will check it. Its what it seems like though......

Interesting to know as my car has been running under power for a few months but only a small amount then last night @ 5000 1st gear I was only making 0.33 bar????? & same problem today through out gears no matter where rpm was(apexi fc). Another note is that i have removed my apexi avcr for repair monday gone.
