POSSIBLY THE WEIRDEST QUESTION OUT...???
Does anyone know if you can... somehow!... amplify the sound of the indicator flasher noise (presumably the noise is made by its relay)?
Car is a MY1999 STi 5.
See, told you it was weird!

Thanks dudes.
Any idea where I can get said buzzer and how to wire it up (with an inline switch too)?
stevieb, lol... Reason is, I have an aftermarket steering wheel and I don't have auto-cancel anymore. The wheel is only 300mm dia. so don't always see the flasher lights on the dash and sometimes forget to manually cancel (drives me mad) - I feel a right tit driving 1/4+ miles with indicators on. So really, I have to rely on the noise of the relay ticking away... but it can't compete over the head unit!

get both switch and buzzer in maplins mate and they should be able to explain how to do it
you might need an volt meter to test whitch connectors on the relay do what
then simply wire one end of switch to relay then other to one end of buzzer then other of buzzer to other end of relay
hth

Would this be okay?:-
12V Thin Piezo Panel/PCB Buzzer/Sounder With Leads
Out of interest, where is the flasher relay cited?
What does 85dB compare to loudness wise?
EDIT: Apparently, a vacuum cleaner is close to!

That looks fine.
Flasher relay is high up under the dash, driver's side. You can see it, or touch it, but unless you are a plastic midget, you are unlikely to be able to do both at once.
I set mine flashing, reached up and felt for the one that was ticking, then pulled it loose.........I had to replace it with one for towing.
