just wondered if a vf48 would be a good upgrade for my 2.5 hawkeye running aps full de-cat,aps induction and remap.upgraded fuel pump and plugs too,what would be my gains with this turbo roughly and would i need a remap after install.thanks.

 

since your have a wrx a vf43 or vf48 is a good turbo for upgrade, would take you to around 350bhp with supporting mods, only thing is be careful with the gearbox, its a bit fragile at those power levels ( some last , others dont ) , remap would be needed to bring it all together. One thing ive just rememberd , your brakes may become a bit of a weak point , from memory i think they handle around 300bhp, ofc depends on how you drive
