What are the benefits to upgrading to and sti intercooler from my standard one on my wrx hawkeye ? I've upgraded the turbo full decat and a walbro fuel pump so before my remap is it advisable to do the intercooler to as I'm not wanting a fmic ?

 

the STi is larger but also needs the undertray from STi, it will enable you to keep temps down at higher bhp than the wrx cooler.
FMIC is ofc the best way to do this but as youve stated already you would rather not go this route and at the power levels iam guessing your after , i agree with what route youve chosen
