Default Clutch needs replacing

Is there anyone in the Cambridge area who could fit my clutch at a decent price?

Not a specialist job and one that any competent mechanic should be able to do. Have a ring around of the local companies.

We can supply the clutch (and flywheel if needed) at very good prices and almost always less than any garage would charge to supply.

Bad news. How much did it all cost you?

over £500 and when 2 days later my intercooler pipe blew whilst on motorway because they broke the d/v take off and super glued it back on(telling me they put new one on),i went back to them was told you need to buy new pipe!!!
he actually thought that i should pay for it
after starting to walk out he realised i was very pi**ed off so said he would get it fixed.a week later when it was fixed i had to tighten everything up properly as was all loose and leaking boost.
very well known tuner but all the locals wont touch him because he has a history of messing up.
should have just bought same clutch from you and fitted myself but thought i would have a good guarantee by paying for "respected" tuner to do it.

Ouch! Who was the "specialist", PM if you prefer.

As we supply so many clutches, we keep an eye out for garages to recommend for work (or not recommend).

Some of the most well know specialists with the best forum reps are in my experience actually amongst the worst in the real world.
