Hi there, car is a my95 import i noticed yesterday car was only boosting to 7 psi it was going above this up to 13 psi but was increasing very slowly through the rev range. It usually runs 16 psi and have never had a problem before the only thing i have changed in the last month is the dump valve i have gone from a bailey to a ssq version 3. I could have had the problem since fitting this and not noticed as yesterday i went for a run around, probably first sprinted drive since fitting the ssq could this be causing the problem can you get boost leak from the dumpvalve. Just wanted to ask before i swap it back to try it. Any help would be great thanks.

 

yes i would try swapping the dump vlave back. some aftermarket ones are known to cause runnign isues.

 

so from the symptoms you think the dumpvalve is at blame
