Default Bonnet vent stuck up!

Has anyone else come across the problem with the fmic pipe work pushing the right side vent up on a facelift bonnet? Ive taken the drip tray off and pushed pipe down as far as possible but when I shut the bonnet it pushes vent up quarter of an inch

Is it pushing on one of the pins/bolts that hold the vent in place ???

It's pushing on the metal bit that the square plastic tab sits in. The tab on the vent snapped off cos of this. Loils like the only way round it is to chop of most of the honeycomb moulding

I've pushed it all the way down. Bit of lube as you do. Still the same. I'm not that bothered but it would look tidier if it sat flush

Cant you chop half inch off the pipe that runs down the front of the engine?
Should be able to push it further down. I have a facelift with a fmic and have no issue

Is that pipe on the right way around??

Try removing that pipe with the bend and see if its better the other way around?
