Default Help please - problem with rear shocks

Help please, i thought my rear o/s shock was gone, have got it booked in next monday to be fitted, the problem is when my lad was sitting in the rear seat and i drive over a bump the arch was banging on the tyre, if i am on my own and i go round a corner fast it hits the tyre, the problem i have is - is it because of the shocks, or is it because the 18" tyres stick out more than normal.
So my main question is is it normal to get more than 2" depression under load in the shocks? this would answer the question if its the shocks or the tyres!!!

Thats your problems then. Too much offset. Either get the arches rolled on inside or get slightly narrower tyres. What profile tyre you got currently?

What size spacers are you running and why? Is it to clear brakes? I am running 225 tyres on my 18" wheels with no issues. No spacers though.

No idea. Its probably nothing to do with the shocks. With aftermarket wheels with unknown offset and wheels spacers to boot your wheels are just too wide.

ok just had a look, the spacers about 5mm thick, cant see why they would be there, there is loads of room round the brembos, if i remove the spacers that should remove the problem - do you think?
