Hawkeye sticking 4 pots
I was doing my daily drive to work and had to brake quite hard at a roundabout 1 kick off the ABS ( lack of indicators on the other car ). Then was winding the car up duel carageway noticed a loud drone and slight judder through stearing wheel.
I thought at first that the front diff had sh@t it self, but slowed up and pulled over and smelt the burning brakes. Front drivers side wheel was warm to the touch nursed the car to work and back home tonight.
The cars a 2007 WRX had it since new 47k miles, I fitted godspeed kevlar pads and groved discs last year.
I cant believe the calipers are fooked in under 4 years, is this common on the 4 pots ?

Yes it's a common fault with these calipers rusting up the pistons causing them to stick , we can supply you fully reconditioned calipers with stainless steel pistons that will never rust again , new seals and bleed nipples , you can have the calipers any colour you want , and they are £235 a pair inc vat on an exchange basis
