Default help needed anyone in barnsley area

Hi. is there any one who lives in the barnsley area who could do me a really big favour and come and have a look at my car for me if they have any spare time as my car has i think a big air lock and no matter what i try i just carnt seem to shift it. it must be me not doing it right. its a 97 t2000 i have replaced the thermostat as i was told it could be buggered it overheats and the heaters are stone cold. ive only had the car 3weeks and i am scared of doing it some damage by not knowing enough about it.
If some one could help me it will be very much apreciated.
thanks phil

try leaving it to tick over with the filler tank cap off so it can push the air out and make sure you have the heater on hot

its quite difficult to get an air lock.

i replaced my stat few mths back.

with the system empty,i ran the engine and slowly poured the anitfreeze/water mix in thru the header tank, let it idle until the level went low, topped up,stat opens, fill a bit more etc.

if you do think you have an airlock, remove cap from header tank, start her up and let it overflow a bit out the header tank to settle the level and remove air
