need help identifying my impreza's engine and setup. just bought the car and have no clue what it has in it. all i know is, that it isnt what was in it originally?

the car seems to be hitting fuel cut and running 19 psi, which i know cant be good. just need some general advice on this one guys, on what to do to make things right

It's a 97/98 ECU apparently, which would tie in with the inlet etc.

 

so is there a difference between sti, wrx, turbo 2000, etc I am trung to find out what i am dealing with more than anything. what is the differences in ecu??? is the one i have any good, keep hearing about Z4 ecu's. I am sure i will get there eventually
