Default hks ssqv fitting

anyone know of an easy way to get the c clip on, I'm using the correct pliers. But the clip wont compress enough and then ejects itself off the pliers

take it to a garage they will do it in a vice with a meaty pair of circlip pliers in no time

If you heat the metal C clip up, put it on the hob or something for a short while, that will give it that extra little amount of flex you need to get it on. It's hardened steel and can be a pain in the ***. Ensure you have heavy duty C pliers, job done.
