Default Cleaning Steering Wheel?

What is the best way to clean a standard steering wheel on a my99 car. Its sticky and little black bits come off. Is there a miracle clean. Or just use soap and water.

Just use soap and water mate. The little black bits can be the top coating of the leather. Don't use leather cleaners as you could damage top coat - honest mate have done it in the past. was not good idea.

My first option would be baby wipes.
APC is All Purpose Cleaner. Available in supermarkets down the household aisle.
If you use APC, dilute it 10 parts water to 1 part APC. Wipe the wheel then rinse with a damp cloth
