sick wrx
hi everyone,
I'm having trouble with my 2004 impreza wrx.
about 3 weeks ago started car for first time in a few weeks and didnt sound right idling too hight and sure enough engine management light came on and idling about 2000rpm
took it to get codes read following week ran ok once got going just lumpy idle. faults that showed up were air mass and air inlet temp i think plus an unkown one 0519 or sililar its few weeks ago now. garage suggested clean idle control valve.
however car on way homw ran perfect great cured i thought.....nope!
left her a week til got carb cleaner cleaned idle control valve fired her up.......lumpy idle and CEL on. goes up to 2500rpm idle then drops to like 1500rpm.
pulled out airflow meter cleaned it no difference.
unplugged AFM while running slight dip in revs then back to lumpy. funny thing is when i unpluf ISCV plug it makes no difference and same with the plug beside that one. I thought unplugging them would make the ecu read the default code and therefor show which sensor was duff if that makes sense??? seems to work on landys lol...........
thanks for patience reading this and hopefully someone can shed some light!!!
