Default mph convertor

iv brought a 1997 type r that is still in kph how i get it converted most accurate way? oh and how much? cheers rob

Can buy some clocks and delimiter (small black box) on here, have a look in the car parts for sale section, I got both for 45quid mate,.and there about 15 mins to fit, just plug the delimiter into the speedo cable going to the gearbox and then it's delimited and in mph
Winner winner....

funny guy must be bored

cheers guys so if i get the delimiter i gotta change my clocks to i don t really wanna as got the dccd bit on them?

you dont change the clocks, you just take them out, fit the delimiter to the back then refit them

If its a cable driven speedo you don't have to take the clocks out.

Not with mine anyway.

Are you tripe-jointed? No way I could have got to the cable driven speedo on my classic without taking the clocks out

mine was directly to the back of the clock, it was simple to fit, unplug the speedo cable from the clock, plug the delimiter in its place then plug the speedo cable into the delimiter

The speedo cable is in two halves and the converter I had went in between them. Not too bad to fit bit of a faff putting the clip back in.

When I took it out I had to take the clocks out but fitting it wasn't too bad.

I understand completely about being triple jointed especially trying to get the bloody clip back in!!!
