really bad judder need help
need help my turbo 2000 on a w judders really bad through the rev range. a few weeks ago it wouldnt rev past 4000rpm it would just die and the engine light came on, a local garage did a quick scan for me and it came back with a maf fault so i replaced the maf and reset the ecu and that cleared all the codes now the car revs to red line but it judders somtimes really violent like its running out of fuel.
any help would be great

it doesnt feel like a missfire tho more like a fuel cut could it still be a coil pack?

Judder like you're describing will, as already stated, typically be down to coil packs or dodgy plugs mate.
You feel like you're hitting a wall at a certain rev range? Most likely plugs - experienced this on mine a few years back; changed all the plugs and fine.
Also had a CEL for cylinder 3, and was a coil pack fault. The car went into limp mode and sounded horrendous.
Swapped the coil pack for a new one and all good again.
Should be simple to fix yourself

cars now fixed running like a dream in was the maf got a cheap from ebay but that didnt work had to go to the dealers for one.
