re mapped or not ?

Hi
is it possible to tell if a car has been remapped (it's definitely quicker than my previous uk bugeye), or would i have to take it to a specialist/rolling road and 'plug it in' ?

Getting a boost gauge on it will tell you instantly whether it's running more boost, but best to get it checked on the rollers to check health.
