Is this a big problem or something people come across all the time any help would be great in regard to the car it has a cat back after burner exhaust a hks bov (from sumo power not cheapy) and a do-luck panel filter ??

I recently fitted a new maf sensor and that solved my idling problems but I still get the occasional dip in idle, not sure if I have an air leak somewhere, its not a bad dip but still annoying all the same
I got mine from the scooby clinic, paid £120 for the full unit. You can get the sensor itself for cheaper. It got to the point where if I didn't give some gas at lights to stay above idle I would cut out

Ideally you need to take it somewhere and get your ECU read before you go spending money on parts that might not need changing. MAF and ICVS problems would be the prime culprits, but it could be something else too.
Yeah I thinking it's got to go on computer but I what it remapped anyway just need to put my headers and up on and new fuel pump in then have it put in and all the little bits ironed out I just thought it might have been a quick fix but I should have know by now nothing is a quick fix or a cheap turn out lol
It may well be a quick fix, but best to get it on the computer to save you wasting any money.
If your planning a getting it maples then I'd also suggest giving it a good service first, including plugs. You might find that sorts your problem too.
