Default front crank seal leaking?

as above noticed a tiny amount of oil on the lower part of the cambelt cover, the crank sensor has wet oil on it... i presume its the main crank seal?

any further ideas regarding replacement, costs etc...

cheers

Stew,

Hard to say without pictures.

Its a long shot, but just check your banjo bolt on the power steering too.

I had, what I thought was a crankseal leak a while back, oil coming down front of the block, and on cam cover.

On removing the cam cover it was dry, but the washer on the powersteering pump was knackered, oil was same colour as the fresh engine oil which didn't help either.

I misread your 1st post

I was thinking of the end cam seals which, when I did my head gaskets I didnt use mastic, they didn't leak anyway, but the oil appearing to come from that area led me to believe they were. sorry for the red herring.

Not sure about the Saturday, maydo.
