Well its not a NPS, those are only on new age cars, I could go outside now, rip into the gearbox on my type R and there wont be one, do the same with the spec c and presto, its there
I would look at your air/fuel ratio sensor or maf, both these can cause hesitation higher up the rev range.

mafless, no boost leaks, checked esl 3 times with dynamix, no zorst leaks, changed plugs to pfr7b, new coil packs, new ignighter pack, new boost sol, no vac leaks, new actuator, ran an mbc (no change) so today at the 555 i was advised to change the nps as they can cause the miss fire,., so what do you reckon

i think they might have neutral position switch cos mine changes rpms slightly when you put in in and out of gear with clutch down.

Try your air/fuel ratio sensor, as you dont have an NPS and it causes similar issues to what your car is suffering from (also have you checked the error codes?)

I also have a JDM MY95 WRX.

I have a switch in the gearbox which has a nylon spring loaded centre. Surely this is the NPS.

If not, what could it be?
