Rear diff help

Can anyone tell me what this diff is was told it was a 4.4 and the gear box that was withit was for 4.4 but me not sure
had the lid off and the numbers on the inside are S40:9 hk 8/4/16
also another set 8400769

S40:9 hk 8/4/16

40:9 diff ratio works out as 4.44
