MY01 Number Plates

The number plate fell off the front of my MY01 WRX last week. Has anyone else had a problem with plates being mounted on silly sticky pads?
(Fortunately, when I went back to work to see if it fell off in the car park, it was there - and in one piece)

Don't accept this. Take it back to the dealer and get them to sort it. The MY01 is designed to have the number plate screwed to the bumper.
I previously had a VW with the numberplate glued to the tailgate -after a couple of weeks it fell off. Screwing it on, it is still there 4 years later.
