Default Mapping question

I have been running around in my WRX 93 JDM , with the boost sol bypassed , to be on the safe side. Now I am happy with the motor , next steps will be 255 fuel pump, service and then mapping.

I will go for a ESL board , as it has full de-cat and induction/exhaust.

Do I have to get a boost controller if I want two boost levels ?

I assume I will need to map to the higher boost level on my planned Tesco 99 then use the low boost option when I want to take it easy.

Yeah, the ESL will only give you one boost level although you do have the option of moving your accelerator pedal upwards a bit to give lower boost
