Depends what power you're after. recently replaced my P1 STI TMIC with an STI8 TMIC but I haven't seen much benefit, would have probably got the same power with the original TMIC.

Heard a few people mention that it is much harder to fit a newage tmic to an early classic. if you're only planning on running upto around 330-335bhp then a facelift classic STI tmic would probably do. If you want more I'd go for a FMIC.

You could have this for £50 delivered if you wanted to go down the TMIC route https://www.scoobynet.com/subaru-pa...1-tmic.html

And this would fit 95 wrx? I'm only planning on 300hp for now lol, as my car is standard apart from straight through exhaust what else would be needed???

It will fit, it's just a case of how much work is involved. Probably less work than it was to fit the massive STI8 intercooler into a space smaller than the actual intercooler. Took 4 hours to fit mine, STI6 TMIC is smaller and not as deep but has the same alloy Y pipe as the newage tmics.

best asking someone who doesn't have an invested interest

mines got a lot more than just that but yes you'd need a remap. you would need a remap anyway to get the most out of a new intercooler. if you fit a cone air filter it usually makes the turbo flutter until it's properly mapped, that's what it did to my old blobeye sti.

think the wrx injectors max out before 300bhp so you'll probably want to consider changing those as well. have a search and double check but i think you'll need to change upto the some 440cc injectors from an STI which can handle 330bhp. Got a set of those as well, put 550cc in mine because I'm going to be running meth and need the extra duty that 550cc injectors give me over the 440s

These are the links for the TMIC and injectors. Let me know if you want them, could do them both for £100 delivered. Injectors ran 280bhp for 9 years then 320bhp for 18 months before I removed them last week and put the 550s in.

Do some research, plenty of things you can do and it's always best to check everything out before you remap the car. I always forget things then have to pay out for a 2nd remap.

The TMIC on 93-96 cars is maxed out at 280 bhp.
Fitting a TMIC from a later Subaru or even an aftermarket to a 95 car is not an attractive proposition for a very modest benefit.
I suggest you fit a Hybrid GT £335 or Hybrid GT2 £375 and your air charge temperature problems are solved and that section of your car is future proofed.
