Has anyone else had problems with the oil pickup pipe being to short to fit on a VF48 classic as its a slightly bigger turbo.

 

done a few of these onto classics and yes they do appear to be a little shorter if swapped from another turbo. all I've done is gently manipulate the pipe into place by means of gently re adjusting its shape then gently tip the banjo fitting over so it located in the turbo correctly

 

Cheers mate thats what i did ,just wondered as iv'e seen a flexible pick up pipe and wondered if this was the way forward, i have done the same as you should be ok as the copper washer either side was replaced.
