Non OEM fuel filter and air filters?

In terms of air filters, it is pretty rare that the vast majority of keen owners would replace the filter with a standard Subaru item. Typically, Green, K&N, ITG etc. would be used.
As long as it's from a known maker, the oil filter should be every bit as good (better in some cases) as the OEM. I've been using UFI filters from Opie Oils for about 3 years and Purolator before that.
For fuel filters, I wonder how many people have actually changed it? I changed mine a couple of years ago for a Blueprint replacement.

Yeah i would only get OEM quality or better but i wasn't really sure on the after market fuel filters, i found one on import car parts but do not know what quality they are, oter than this i only know of the OEM one and that's a lot more. Air filters and oil filters are much more widely available it seems, or maybe i'm not looking hard enough ha.
