anyone removed the heater matrix ?
I have removed the heater matrix on my track car and need to pipe together i believe so as to retain the flow.
my question is where to buy the pipe from ?
And will this improve cooling ?

I THINK it's just a bit of 15mm copper pipe, as used by plumbers, and some Jubilee clips.
And no, it won't improve cooling unless there was a fault on the matrix.
In fact, on an old Ford Escort MkIII, I used to run with the heater full on when climbing mountain passes fully loaded, and I could SEE the temperature gauge falling. Same trick worked on the 1.8 Sierra when towing.
