Default loud exhaust

hi,this might sound a bit girly but is there a way to make my exhaust a bit
quieter!!!!
its a straight through exhaust and the neighbours can hear me a mile away
any ideas would be a great interest

Hi, am not very mechanically minded but all I know is that it has a sports cat fitted

Thanks for your time and ya the muffler is a big noisy thing.can a bung damage your engine?any ideas ?

Any idea what make of exhaust is on your car as the bung in the link above will only suit the likes of a vortex afterburner,ninja2,blitz nur spec or any other system that has a 4.5' tailpipe,so measure yours first before you buy.If it has a smaller diameter you might want to try one of these :

As for driving with the bung in ,it wont do no harm providing you dont rag it all the time, as it does increase backpressure ,but the noise reduction makes for comfortable highway cruising and ideal for the early morning/late night driving.I had the bung in this morning at 5.00am and not caused me no issues in 2 yrs.

It's a 4" tailpipe unsure of make though
