Default clutch or flywheel?

got a problem with my 03 uk STI, the revs dont match the speed, when driving normal its ok but when i put foot down revs goes up but no boost and smell of burning clutch? is this a flywheel problem or clutch?

Sounds like your clutch is slipping.

so a new clutch .....i am really tight for money at the moment do you guys think i could get away with not chaging the flywheel?

Get the flywheel skimmed if it hasnt had to much meat tacken off it before its fairly cheep to get done

As above, sound like typical clutch slip.

On a budget, flywheel should be checked and skimmed if needed.
