Nothing really out there for the sports free flowing air filter/induction and a decat exhaust maybe borla style headers but that's about your lot.

Yes you could fit a 2.5 or even 3.0 H6 but the costs really don't add up.

I'd just sort the suspension/brakes and then get a turbo once you can.

The only magical box is probably a money box ... empty that and add it to what you make when you sell the sport to buy a turbo

Seriously though, to get more out of the sport version it is down to old fashioned mechanical mods to get more air in and air out better. Very intensive and with limited gains unless mapping. Not sure whether the ecutek guys can do the sport 99 but it would work out cheaper using the magic box above IMO

On the missus Sport I'm running the Scoobyworld Afterburner Centre section with the race box back box - good fit and price. I'm planning to put a set of the Borla replicas headers on as well but retain the cats as it's the daily drive and I want it to remain MOT friendly.

I've seen some good induction kits that replace the whole inlet system plus the air box locating a filter by the inner wing but haven't got around to fitting one.

If the bottom end on ours goes I will be looking at a 2.5 N/A block to replace it depending on if I can reuse my existing heads etc.

Sounds like a worthwhile plan, where and how much is that sort of system... Im thinking about Japspeed unequal headers first and the a panel and drill the existing air box. Already have a back box but this is likely to change.

Best one I've seen is a K & N but it was the wrong side of £100!

Probably not ever going to bother as the other 'toy' is a money pit as it is!
