Question

I am trying to change the rear speakers in my 93wrx but am having problems getting the trim off the parcel shelf. Do the rear seats fold down because they don't look as though they do? I am worried I might rip something off that I shouldn't.

not sure about the seats folding down but i dont think it matters. AFAIA you have to take the seats out completely along with the rear pillar trims in order to lift out the rear shelf having unscrewed it fom inside the boot.
thats what i done anyway

hope it helps

hi mate. the rear seats dont fold down. to get the parcel shelf off you have to remove the bottom peace off the seat first two bolts at the front and hooked on at the back. then theres another to bolts for the back peace it just puches up, then you have to remove the trim next to next to the window either side there are very tight you will have to pull hard, then go in too the boot and pop loose all the black plastic clips. it might be glued at the back.then bend the shelf in the middle it should come out. hope that helps
